Before you can start working with the Ion Discover DJ, there are a couple of system requirements that have to be met. You’ll need at least Windows XP, and next to that you’ll also need a sound card or integrated audio. The last requirement is an USB port of at least 1.1. You need to install the included MixVibes software on your computer, after which you have to attach the turntable to your computer via an USB port, and you’re good to go. For example, you can use the mp3 songs which are already on your computer, or other music with which you’d like to make a set. ven better. Using the pitching up or down function you can variate the distances between pieces of music. With the looping function you can repeat a piece until you introduce a new piece.
