Creditcard / iDeal
Payments by creditcard or by iDeal are the fastest ways of paying and can be dispatched immediately. In this case, the total time between ordering and delivery is 1 to 2 days.
Rembours (Cash On Delivery)
C.O.D orders are only valid in the Netherlands with a delivery of 1 to 3 days
C.O.D. orders can only be placed if you have an account and you are logged in.
C.O.D orders can be sent directly (because you pay at the door). C.O.D orders will not be delivered on Saturday.
By not accepting C.O.D., a fee of € 15.00 may be charged for the administration.
Bank transfer can take up to 7 days, before we receive the payment. We can not provide you with the exact time frame as it depends on the bank. The total delivery time with bank transfer as a payment method can take up to 1,5 weeks. As soon as the product is shipped, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. After you received this e-mail you can be sure that your product will be delivered the next day, or the day after.
Influences on the delivery
Our packages will be delivered by TNT, they have a standard delivery policy. Unfortunately, we cannot affect the time of delivery. International deliveries are carried out by the mail order companies, where we also cannot influence the delivery time.
Track & trace
You can request the track & trace code of your package from the Megagadgets customer service: email@example.com . Using this code, in combination with the postal code of the delivery address, you can check the current status of your delivery here. This way you can estimate the delivery time for your product.
A product can be in stock at the moment of ordering, but could be sold out, while processing the order. When this happens, the status of the order will be changed into ‘backorder’. This means, we will be able to see that we still have to process the order and the customer knows the delivery time could be longer. When one or more of your products are put into backorder, you will receive an e-mail concerning the backorder. Don’t want to receive your products anymore, because the delivery time is too long? Then we can cancel the order for these products. Backorders are checked daily and processed immediately when these products are in stock again. Of course, we will do our best to prevent these backorders.
Some products on the website are not in stock. This means you cannot buy these products. But if you leave your e-mail address when pressing ‘Add to cart’ button, you will receive an e-mail as soon as the product is in stock again. This way, you will be the first to know when the product is restocked and you will be able to buy the product immediately. You are not obliged to buy the product when you make use of the ‘Add to cart’ button.
When there will be a restock
If you want to know, when a product will be restocked (which is currently not in stock) you can email this question to: Customer Service . Also if you would like to know for sure, if we are going to offer a particular product again, or if we will ever offer again a particular product we used to offer in the past, you can contact us at our customer service.
Delivery costs varies per country. Delivery costs within the Netherlands are €4,95. Although when you pay by rembours (cash on delivery), the delivery costs will be €10,08. This is because of the extra activities that are connected with it. Because Megagadgets also got a German website, www.megagadgets.de , the delivery costs to Germany are €4,95.
Other delivery costs
Delivery costs to Belgium are €12,00, and to the rest of Europe €20,00. Do you want to have your package delivered somewhere else in the world, then the delivery costs will be €50,00. Therefore, your package can be delivered to anywhere you want, only the delivery costs will differ per destination. So keep an eye on this.
Services for which client information will be used
Megagadgets will use the collected data to supply our customers the following services:
- If you place an order, we will need your name, e-mail address, delivery address and payment details to process the order and to update you about order status.
- With your permission we can use the data to inform you about the development of the website, special offers and discounts. If you no longer want us to let you know about all these updates, you can indicate this while creating your account. You can use the most items you buy from us, at certain conditions. Returns are at buyers risk. This means that Megagadgets is not liable for damage or the loss of returned items. Returns in the Netherlands
Within 14 days, the package, in consultation with the customer, will be returned. Sending back a product to the response number must be in original packaging with a copy of the invoice with a description of the problem.
Megagadgets will check your problem and if it may be a damaged product, you can get the same product replacemed or you’ll get your money refunded.

Within a specified time the package may be returned to the Megagadgets. Once the return is received by Megagadgets, the product will be tested. Based on the results we determine whether to repair or replace the product. Megagadgets will contact you first.
Order arrived in incorrect or damaged state.

The order should have the original packaging when returning it to Megagadgets, with a copy of the invoice and an accompanying note containing a detailed description of the problem. As soon as Megagadgets receives the returned order, we will investigate the source of the damage and possibly test the product. Based on these results we will determine if a product can be repaired or replaced.
Product exchange - Money back because the right of return
It is also possible to exchange a product within 14 days. In that case, the cost of returning the product(s) lies with the consumer. The product must be in original packaging with a copy of invoice. If you get a new product sent to you, new shipping costs are not applicable. Please ensure that the product is in good condition so that we still can sell it at Megagadgets. For the quickest handling you can say what the complaint is and what product you wish to receive.
In some cases, we will refund the purchase price of the order. Unfortunately, the shipping costs will be lost and we won’t be able to refund them. We can however, refund the shipping costs when the order is already cancelled before the product has been shipped. We only refund with a valid reason. The payment will be refunded on the same account number or credit card number, that was used to pay for the order. When an order is payed by Cash On Delivery, and it is decided you will get your money refunded, a note should be included with the return, which should include an account number with accompanying name.
When you order something with Megagadgets, Megagadgets will take responsibility for the guarantee. All guarantee will run through Megagadgets. If necessary, we will return the product to the manufacturer. First, the product will come to us, so that we can and we will make sure it will end up at the manufacturer. If it has been a long time ago since the customer placed an order, it could be easier for the customer to contact the manufacturer himself. We can possibly supply the contact details for the manufacturer.

For paying by Creditcard, all you need is the banknumber, a CVC-code, your name and the date until the payment is valid. This data will be processed afterwards and accepted by us when everything is correct. When you pay by credit card, we will receive the payment almost immediately. Do we receive the payment before 20.00, then we will ship the order on the same day. Do we receive the order after 20.00, then we will ship the order the next day.

When you pay by iDeal, we will receive the payment almost immediately. If we receive the payment before 20.00, then we will ship the order on the same day. If we receive the order after 20.00, then we will ship the order the next day.
When you pay via bank transfer, we will send an e-mail to the e-mail adress you have provided. In this e-mail, you will find an unique code. You will need to include this code when you transfer the money. With this code, we can track the payment with ease. You should save the content of the e-mail. Important data to save are the order number, the invoice number and all other data. This way all data can be retrieved when needed.
Paying with bank transfer can take up to 7 days before we receive the payment. How soon we receive payment depends on what bank is used to transfer the money and the point of time the transfer is done. This means, delivery of the order using ‘bank transfer’ can take up to 1,5 weeks.
Rembours/ Cash on Delivery
The final available payment method is letting the order ship ‘by rembours’. This means you will pay Cash on Delivery related to the invoice amount, when the mailman delivers your order. This method does have an additional cost of €10,08. The reason for these higher shipping costs, is the extra work that comes with the shipping ‘Cash on Delivery’ . When choosing the payment method ‘Cash on Delivery’, the order will be shipped the same day. Orders with a ‘Cash on Delivery’ note will not be delivered on a Saturday.
You will find an invoice attached to your order. Don’t want the prices to be displayed? Please indicate this as a comment during the ordering process. When you choose for an option ‘gift wrapping’, we will assume it is a gift and thus, won’t display the prices. Wrapping a gift is only possible if you are logged in, and in order to be logged in you need an account.The invoice is not included, but you still want to receive it by e-mail or regular mail? You can checkout in several ways. You can checkout with or without an account. You can log in if you already have an account, create an account or choose to checkout without an account. Make your choice and select on 'checkout'.
Step 5: Data
Now you come to a page where data must be completed. Enter this information as accurate as possible, thus preventing errors during handling. Then click on 'Continue '.
Step 6: Shipping
On this page you can change the delivery address and do other changes. You can also place a note on the order, which will be read by the warehouse staff and the postman. For example, if you mention in the note that you do not want the price information to be visible on an item (gift) or a preference for a type or color. Is everything completed to your satisfaction? Step 7: Secure Payment
Now you come to the page where you can change the billing address. However, the bill is always included with the order and in case of gift packaging, prices are not visible (since the order already has been paid when it arrives). Step 8: Order Confirmation
In this screen you can check your data and change it if it is incorrect . In case of wrong information, the order will not be deliverd at the correct delivery address or there might be problems during the delivery process. After completing this, click on "confirm". Step 9: Payment
Finally you end up in the payment screen were you can pay by chosen payment method. With each different method, you will go through few steps to finalize the payment . When the payment process is successful, your order is completed and you will receive your order at the given delivery address.

You can return any item within 14 days of receipt and the product must be returned in original packaging and in a sellable condition. We accept products that are not in re-sellable condition, but the repairing costs for a new packaging exceeds the cost of the (blister) packaging.
